Summer of Startups Turku

Boost Turku Entrepreneurship Society is heating up the city of Turku this summer by organizing the first Summer of Startups program for ambitious teams wanting to execute their business ideas.
The aim of the program is to provide six teams a mind blowing experience over the summer developing their own idea towards market traction and founding the company. It will be a superb learning experience, guaranteed fun and chance to build something of your own.
As part of the program the teams will get coaching from experienced entrepreneurs, training in different topics, working space at Boost Startup Farm, and initial funding of up to 4000 €. The more laid-back networking events are also an important part of the program to get the teams connected to the Nordic entrepreneurship scene.
The program is aimed for students and researcher from the universities in Turku and around Finland. You should have a team of 2-3 persons with kick-ass attitude to make your idea reality. One important factor is the ability to execute and prototype the idea during the summer with real customers. If you are missing a team member let us know and we.ll help you with that one.
What's Required of You
- The program requires full commitment from the team during the program period. Work hard and really push your team forward and we promise that the Summer of Startups will be a blast and an unforgettable experience.
- The teams applying to the summer program should have the skills to build their product or service prototype. If you consider applying and are missing the skills to make your idea reality work hard to find that missing team member.

The Schedule
Application period is open now! It will close on Friday May 20th midnight. Send your application right away as we are doing the evaluating and preselection of the ideas as they land in our system. The selection process itself will be done by the program coaches.
The six teams getting into the program will be announced latest on May 27th. The program starts on Monday 13th of June and will end on 26th of August.
